LET THERE BE a ROCK (opera or concept album)

After the resounding success of the A.R.S.E Groups I AM THE BAND CHALLENGE – described by some as the best challenge ever held on Red bubble – We at A.R.S.E have decided to give everyone another chance to show off their artistic muscles.
Without much fanfare we would like YOU – the creative geniuses out there – to create your own Rock Opera or concept work related to popular music.
As a quick reference check out Pink Floyd’s The Wall, or The Who’s Tommy and Quadrophenia, any of Rick Wakeman’s solo albums King Arthur, Journey to the centre of the earth), any early stuff by Lloyd Webber /Rice (JC Superstar, Joseph and his Technicolor yawn) , Godspell, Mama Mia, Gorillaz even KISS.
As you can see we like to paint with a BROAD BRUSH here at A.R.S.E.
Your submission can take shape in one of many forms or several mixed together.
How big or small is up to you.
Imagination and ideas is the key to winning.
So do a poster, a song, an animation, a theatrical stage set up, a CD cover, a movie trailer, a pitch, a storyline brief, a cartoon, a model, costume design or all of these mix together in a large soup.
Only you hold back what can be achieved.
I believe a few people came close to achieving what this challenge is about in the previous competition.
So use those skills you honed and rustle up some artistic goodness.
Please must be new works if you were in the last challenge unless they are expanded on considerably.
All works will be posted on the A.R.S.E website and blog.

All entries are to linked from the Group Forum but can posted on any other site you wish to tell your tale appropriately.
