After a wee bit of a break(down) the ARSE blog is bag to showcase and highlight great pieces of work from all the A.R.S.E Souls.
Beginning with this challenge in the next month or so.

With the pending release of the world’s most famous virtual/cartoon band THE GORILLAZ the ARSE Group has announced it’s first challenge for 2010.
The challenge titles I AM THE BAND is a chance for you the contestant to become your very own ROCK STAR, ROCK BAND ,MANAGER, PR & AOR Department.
What we want from you – our dear contestant- is to a devise concept, and it can be small or all encompassing. It can be a piece of music, a video on youtube, a gif, a poster, a CD, a concept of a band you would like to see, maybe all of these combined.
The limit is only set by your imagination.
While technique and professionalism are worthy traits, we are also looking at ideas and imagination. Don’t think you aren’t clever enough.
So if you have some old tapes of you singing, shove them in a sampler and create a monster. IF you have some pictures of you dressed as KISS member, drag them out and photo shop them. Always wanted to do CD cover, or even a 12 inch fold out sleeve , now is your chance.
All we ask is it is your creation.
Your band.
Do a poster, create a cartoon or comic strip, upload a piece of music or make a music video.
The prizes will be worth it.
They will be announced during the competition and will be in excess of $100 in value.

You have to join ARSE or be an existing member
YOU can only link to your work from the Challenge Forum, you cannot post your work in the ARSE Group.
Your link can go to anywhere on the web, NOT just your RB profile, so be adventurous.
You can enter as many times as you want
Entries can be as big or as small as you want

....there was Redbubble.

And Redbubble decided there would be groups, and it was good.
There were poetry groups, writing groups, photographic groups, drawing groups, tshirt groups and vector groups.

And then along came a man with a vision - for a group that would be not the biggest, nor the most popular group or the most obscure group ...... it would be the best group!

So the Parody, Satire and Lampoon collective was formed, and they came.
And the word came down that they should take the piss and they did and it was good.

They then became A.R.S.E and it was better!

And then they were called to battle against plagiarism here, and it was won and it was good - pushed out in a sweeping generalisation here - and again they rallied and it was good.

**Cathie says: "Just in case I start believing my publicity, here's a little profile Mr Nolan did on me last year .... nothing like a little piss taking to restore normality!! ;p

Ronnie Purcell emailed this to me last week and I wasn’t quite sure why?
I think it was a call for help.

Cathie T is an exceptional artist, writer and photographer, she deserves to be sainted and possibly given a Nobel Peace Prize.

I am writing this because if I don’t Cathie T who is on the other side of my office door will refuse to leave if I don’t. Not only won’t she leave but if I try and make a any effort to depart she will beat me within an inch of my life with the large baseball bat she is brandishing.

I can hear her outside dragging it on the floor talking to her self. Repeating things like:

“I am proud
I am an artist
recognise me or
I’m remove your pelvis”

And

“Ronnie, Ronnie
write me in a story
if not all they’ll find
will be red and gory”

Frightening stuff really.
I’m starting to wonder if she had anything to do with the disappearing animal’s from the zoo.

She is from Adelaide you know?

Cathie T was born on Christmas day in a stable just outside of Nazareth, her closet friends were sheep…….
…..Hang on I got side tracked It sounds like she’s peeling the plasterboard off the wall .

Cathie T was the only daughter of Santa Clause and Mary Christmas who grew up with elves and pixies and wild reindeer…
….. sorry, I keep stuffing up. I do believe she’s eating the books from the waiting room book case.

This whole born on the 25th of December has got me rattled.

Cathie T is a lovely person who encourages others and lives life to the fullest. Check out her portfolio it is full of stuff.

Now if I can only get to a phone and call the cops I might see Christmas as well.
